A more efficient weekly job-search routine
Replace constant browsing with a repeatable routine for finding, assessing and tracking suitable roles.

Set a workable system
Choose target job titles, locations, salary range and non-negotiable conditions before searching. This reduces unsuitable applications and helps you recognise good opportunities quickly.
Create alerts on trusted job boards and employer career pages. Reserve separate time for finding vacancies, tailoring applications and following up rather than switching between all three tasks.
Track quality, not only quantity
Keep a simple record of the role, employer, closing date, application link and status. Save the vacancy description because it may disappear before an interview.
Review your results every week. If applications receive no response, improve targeting and evidence. If interviews do not progress, focus on preparation and examples rather than simply sending more applications.
